I am an artist who paints mainly in acrylics, and occasionally in oils. From my home studio, I produce paintings that express beauty through intense color and light. My artwork has given me contentment and joy since retiring from accounting.
Although I have been drawing and sketching from an early age, I pursued decorative arts more as a less expensive way to maximize my own home decor. From plant pots and garden gnomes to murals, faux finishes and tole painting on my walls and ceramic dragons in dazzling metallics. I believe I have inherited a natural talent from my mother and my great-uncle Adolphus Burton.
Currently offering ORIGINAL ARTWORKS and also PRINTS for sale, I have had a successful solo exhibition in a local coffeehouse/art gallery and my paintings have been available for sale through a local framing studio gallery. I am also a member of The Terrace Art Gallery, and WetCanvas, and other online sites for artists which contribute to my continuing education and growth as an artist.
My hope is that people will just enjoy my artwork.
